Printing...A festival of great tradition, dating back to the 16th century, with brotherhoods that carry images from this period in procession and with rich and valuable objects of great value. Two peculiarities are worth mentioning: ‘correr la vega’ (running through the fertile plains) in order to bless the fertile plains that were once the town's main source of wealth, and the way the thrones are carried by the ‘Hermanacos’, characterised by their costumes and the use of hairpins to hold the throne. There are nine brotherhoods and confraternities that take part in the processions throughout the week.
