Semana Santa de El Cuervo de Sevilla

Holy Week revolves around the Brotherhood and Confraternity of the Santísimo Cristo del Amor y del Amparo and the Santísima Virgen del Rosario. This brotherhood was officially constituted in 1975. It makes its procession on Good Friday at 18:00 with some 300 Nazarenes and faithful following it. Currently there are two processions: The titular image of the brotherhood, the Santisimo Cristo del Amor y del Amparo, blessed in 2004 and replacing the old image from the 50s. The image of the Patron Saint, Our Lady of the Rosary, arrived in the village in the 1940s from the Convent of the Conceptionists in Arcos de la Frontera, where there are references to this image from the early 1700s.
