It has been declared of National Tourist Interest. It begins on Palm Sunday with the departure of the Hermandad de la Borriquita, the images are by Augusto Bonilla and this year the Hermandad has added Mª Santísima de la Salud as its titular image, the work of the image-maker Ana Rey; it continues on Holy Wednesday with the Real Hermandad de Ntro. Jesús Cautivo and M.a Stma. De los Remedios, images by the local sculptor Juan Bernabé Britto; on Maundy Thursday in La Madrugá with the Hermandad de Ntro. Padre Jesús Nazareno (Círculo de la Roldana), M.a Stma. De los Angustias (Gabriel de Astorga) and San Juan Evangelista (Círculo de La Roldana), founded in the 16th century; on Good Friday with the Hermandad del Stmo. Cristo de la Vera Cruz (Juan de Mesa, 1624) and M.a Stma. De los Dolores (attributed to Pedro Duque Cornejo), impressive both the exit and the entrance through the Sun Gate of the Church of San Juan Bautista; and Holy Saturday ends with the Brotherhood of El Santo Entierro de Ntro. Sr. Jesucristo (Bonilla Cornejo), Cristo de la Misericordia from the 16th century and M.a Stma. en su Soledad (former titular image of the Vera Cruz) from the 17th century.
