STAGE: Castro del Río - Espejo

From Castro del Río towards Córdoba we will find two alternatives to continue our journey. The first is a short stage between the towns of Castro del Río and Espejo, although we can extend the stage to get from Espejo to Santa Cruz.

On leaving Castro del Río, the road forks: to the right, a direct route to Córdoba (17.11 km). We head left looking for the bridge over the River Guadajoz, cross it and continue along the N 432 road for about 3 km. After passing a petrol station, we turn right onto a well signposted road, cross the Bujalance road by a subway and arrive at the Camino de Espejo, which we will not leave until we reach this beautiful town, where the medieval castle stands out. The municipal hostel is located at Calle Glodobaldo Gracia nº 56.
