Via Oseira, we leave via the football field and, on a pleasant walk through beautiful landscapes dotted with chapels, manor houses and medieval bridges, we arrive at the impressive monastery of Oseira, nestled in a magnificent forest setting. Inhabited by the Cistercian order since the 1920s, it is being rebuilt stone by stone; its Churrigueresque façade, spectacular staircase, cloisters and church are particularly noteworthy. The path continues to Outeiro and Gouxa, where we can take a break in one of the shops.
Once we reach the national road, we will continue until we enter Castro Dozón, in the province of Pontevedra.
Through Pinor, we will follow the route marked by the Xunta de Galicia with its scallop shells on milestones and tiles. We leave Cea via the Oseira road and soon reach Pinor, a town known for its carpentry industry. After crossing the national road and the motorway, the path enters fields of heather and gorse until it reaches Castro Dozón. In this town, we will find the beautiful church of San Pedro.
