We are situated in the square where the church is and following the Calle Real, we come to a dirt track, the Camino de Las Encinas, where the first arrows are.
We follow it for 1 km and pass a concrete bridge over the Genil River to take the Cordel de los Espartales.
After a steep climb of 1 km, we continue uphill until we enter the Calle Virgen de los Dolores in Encinas Reales.
Follow the arrow signs through the municipality until you reach the Town Hall, where the Local Police will stamp your credentials, and where you can pick up the keys to the free municipal hostel located next to the Ermita de Jesús de las Penas.
