We delve deep into the region of "A Limia", a place where in the past there was a lagoon, Antela, which was drained in the 1950s. The entire plain of the lagoon is of great ecological richness and consists of very fertile lands (currently, the area has numerous agricultural exploitations where mainly potatoes and wheat are cultivated).
Throughout this stage, it is worth noticing in the distance the medieval Towers that once protected the A Limia region from invasions:
- Sandiás Tower: Built in the 12th century, three of the thick walls of its keep are still preserved.
- A Pena Tower: Erected on a hill that dominates all these lands, in the municipality of Xinzo, it was also built in the 12th century.
- A Forxa Tower: Also known as Torre de Porqueira, these are the remains of a medieval castle built in the 12th century in the municipality of Porqueira.
In this 21.20 km stage, we find a wide offer of accommodations, notably highlighting the pilgrims' hostel in the municipality of Xinzo de Limia.
As for gastronomy, it is very extensive, particularly featuring potatoes and bread, in addition to the famous carnivals (Entroido) of Xinzo de Limia with its typical costume, the "Pantalla".
